Reminds me somewhat of the Richard Bach book, 'Johnathan Livingston Seagull.' Life-changing book, that.

Beautiful shot + timing

Btw shouldn't it be 'lives' instead of 'lifes'? Unless you were intentionally going for the spelling mistajke

not going to comment on the photo, really. why? i'm not in the right condition right now. my mind is on the another road. but i just wanted to mention that it should be "Different Lives", not "... Lifes". just plain grammar : P

interesting gallery, you've got there, though ^^

i think it would have looked nice in color

in b&w its almost trying to be pretentious, but just misses

more people should really venture into the field of color-art-photography, but this is one of the few b&w's that i like

i love this.
it's so simple...and i've always been fond of beach/ocean-related photography.

just..one critique. isn't it lives, not lifes? ;)

Amazing capture!
I've done a few of birds in flight... 2 examples I have on here. I do love to watch birds fly... they are so free, they own the sky!

this is a working example of what an able eye can produce out of what seems ordinary and create new dimensions to it by picking the right composition, the right moment. i am thinking this would work very well without the hint of land along the horizon, and make it even more translatable to any viewer from the world.
at the same time, this is probably something that makes it special for you, where you took it.
its interesting that the "pillar" just emphasizes your title.

very nice moment captured!

This is beautiful!

However, being anally retentive I'd like to point out that "lifes" isn't a word. It should be "lives"... although you may have intended for it to be incorrect.
